Seafreedom is a mobile sea kayak resource based near Oban on the West Coast of Scotland

We provide sea kayak instruction, coaching, guided day trips, tours and rental.

We also offer superb "paddler friendly" bed and breakfast accommodation near Oban

 

Our guides/coaches are all BCU/SCA qualified coaches and leaders with many years of experience of sea kayaking on the West Coast of Scotland, especially in the Oban area

 

We enjoy introducing people to that special kind of freedom that is sea kayaking. 

 

And we get a huge kick out of developing experienced client's skills and enabling them to enjoy adventures in the area e love.

 

You have never been before? - Try an introductory day to see what it is all about. 

 

If you want to enjoy a trip or tour whilst learning the skills - our flexible coaching and touring programs will be for you

 

If you are a keen paddler wanting to sharpen your skills, perhaps working towards qualifications, we can help you with individualized coaching. If you are about to go for 4 star assessment, come and do a day or two of feedback and preparation with us first.

 

If you like to feel the Adrenaline moving, join us for a Tide Race Paddling Weekend.

 

If you are an experienced kayaker looking for some sea kayak adventure. - Let's go and explore the wild coast and islands of the Firth of Lorn, the Hebrides or Alaska - or wherever you want to go.

 

And while we are out there, we will teach you everything you need to know, from basic sea kayak techniques and safety, through advanced paddling skills to navigation and trip planning.

For independent paddlers, we also offer a transfer service to drop off and pick up your kayaks, enabling you to do trips along the coast without having to paddle back to your starting point
