Winter paddling

No we aren't crazy! Sea kayaking is fine as a winter activity. After all, the Inuit started it all in Greenland amongst the ice-flows.

We often get superb winter days. blue skies, calm sea and snow on the mountains. It's wonderful.

Winter kayaking dry suits.jpg (276123 bytes) We have dry suits to keep you cosy and pogies to stop your hands from getting cold. We can teach you a few other tricks for comfy winter kayaking.

You can book a full day or a short day. Full days are roughly 10:00 ~ 16:30. Short days are 10:30 to 15:30, but we can adjust the times to suit you. Short days are ideal for skill training. Prices start at 45/person/day for a group of 4 people

Between December 1st and March 15th, you can make your booking and then contact us the day before to confirm. If the forecast is horrible and you are not going to enjoy it, you can cancel without it costing you anything. We probably won't want to go either!

If you are in any doubt, give us a call on 01631 710173 and talk it over.
